What Is a Door Push Panel Used For?
Swing doors on corridors, toilets, dining halls and laboratories are usually opened by a flat-handed push at roughly the same spot, so that spot collects contact from everyone who passes. A push panel fixed there covers the touched area with a material that the product specification describes as antiviral and antibacterial. The panel can also be trimmed and used on light-switch surrounds, lift-button areas or cupboard doors that are pushed rather than pulled.
Mark the height where hands meet the door, clean and dry the area, then press the panel firmly into place, cutting it first if the door rail is narrow. Replace panels that peel or become damaged. Estates teams equipping labs and classrooms through a laboratory equipment supplier in India can order push panels for every door in the same delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dimensions of the Door Push Panel?
Each Door Push Panel measures 100 x 230 mm, described as the small size, and is sold in packs of 10. The material weighs 510 g/m², so the panels are light and sit flat against the face of a door.
Can the Door Push Panel be trimmed?
Yes. The Door Push Panel material can be cut to fit almost any shape or size of surface, so a panel can be narrowed for slim door rails or shaped around a lock or sign before it is adhered.
How is a Door Push Panel different from a Door Handle Wrap?
A Door Push Panel is a flat 100 x 230 mm piece for the part of a door pushed with the palm, while the Door Handle Wrap is a narrow strip wound around the grip of a handle. Many buildings use both.
What does the product specification say about the Door Push Panel's protection?
The Door Push Panel is embedded with silver particles which, according to its product specification, create an antiviral and antibacterial surface. The same specification states protection for users from up to 99.5% of viruses, including Covid 19, on the covered area after contact.
What fire classification does the panel carry?
The Door Push Panel material is listed with an M1 fire classification in its product specification. If a fire safety officer needs supporting paperwork, please ask us before ordering so we can confirm what is available.
