In the early grades the two abacuses, the 1000 plastic cubes and the five sets of 100 counting rods build place value, addition and subtraction through grouping and regrouping, while the three-hand clock model teaches hours, minutes and seconds. The oral practice unit supports quick mental-arithmetic drills at the start of a lesson. As pupils move up, the 450 mm blackboard protractor, 410 mm compass and square sets let the teacher draw accurate angles and shapes on the board that the whole class can copy, and the geometric board, angle demonstrator, geometry sets and figure-making cards bring shape and angle work to the desk.
For the upper primary measurement curriculum, the volume unit demonstrators, cylinder and cone sets, capacity unit and area-and-perimeter demonstrator show why formulas work instead of asking children to memorise them, and the fraction kit makes equivalent fractions concrete. Keep paper for worksheets in stock, count cubes and rods back into their containers after each session, and store everything in the lockable box; schools equipping several classrooms often buy it with other school lab equipment so each campus has an identical set.
