Single Bowl Stand On Castors (Product Code: SLE/HF/09) is a movable, fixed-height stand that holds one bowl in a ring at the top of a stainless steel column, on a heavy five-castor base. Theatre and ward staff wheel it beside the patient to keep a bowl of antiseptic, saline or irrigation fluid at working height, or to receive used swabs and instruments. The column, ring and bowl are austenitic stainless steel 18/10 and the base is a single moulded unit. Typical Use
During surgery or a dressing procedure, the circulating nurse fills the bowl and rolls the stand to the edge of the sterile field so the operator can reach solution without leaning across instrument trays. On wards it serves as a hand-wash or soak basin at the bedside, and in labour rooms it can hold warm water or receive the placenta for inspection. The five-castor base spreads the load of a full bowl, so the stand stays upright when nudged, and the twin-wheel castors roll easily on theatre floors.
