Blackboard, Double-sided, 1160 x 760 mm (Product Code: SLE/CS/021) is a frameless chalkboard panel with a writing surface on both faces, made from highly pressed insulite-type fibre board and finished in black blackboard paint on both sides and all four edges. Two eyelets along the long side let it hang from a wall hook, a tree or a stand and be turned round to use the second face, so it works indoors and outdoors. It is made by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), Ambala, and suits a new classroom or a school laboratory setup in India where an extra, movable board is needed.

Typical Use
Schools without fixed wall boards hang the panel on two hooks or pegs using its eyelets, while those with a permanent board use it as a second writing space for group work, a notice board for the day's homework, or an outdoor board for lessons held under a shelter. Teachers can prepare one face before class — a map outline, a table or a set of questions — and simply turn the board round when it is needed.
Both white slate pencil and chalk write well on the textured paint, and the surface wipes clean with a dry cloth for daily use or a damp cloth for a deeper clean. Let a wet-cleaned board dry before writing on it again.
