Typical Use
For a pelvic examination, the back section is raised on its ratchet, the leg section is dropped fully down and the patient’s legs rest in the padded knee crutches, which are set to her height and width. For delivery, the same table is used in the obstetric position: the patient grips the vertical handgrips while pushing, and the slide-out 4 L basin tray under the pelvic section collects fluids. If the clinician needs the head lowered, the pelvic section tilts to Trendelenburg with its lever handle, and after the procedure all sections can be returned to a flat surface for recovery or cleaning.
Because the cover is liquid-proof and disinfectant-proof, it can be wiped down between patients, and the stainless basin tray is removed for washing.
