Typical Use
During labour the two sections are pulled together into one flat bed, giving the mother a continuous padded surface to rest on. When delivery approaches, the midwife releases the leg section’s brakes, lowers it and slides it under the body section, then sets the padded knee crutches to the mother’s height and width with the heavy-knob clamps. After the birth the leg section is drawn out again to return the bed to a flat position for recovery.
