Typical Use
The surgical team wheels the table into position, applies the central brake so it settles on its four feet, and then sets the patient’s position for the procedure: flat for general surgery, Trendelenburg for lower-abdominal and pelvic work, reverse Trendelenburg for upper-abdominal access, lateral tilt to move organs out of the field, or with the removable leg sections split for lithotomy-type access. Because the top is radiolucent with cassette channels, an intra-operative X-ray can be taken without moving the patient. All movements are manual, which suits theatres where power supply is unreliable.
