Pipette Stand, Horizontal
Pipette Stand, Horizontal (Product Code: SLE/LI/34) is a polished wooden rack used to store pipettes lying flat, off the bench and away from contamination, in chemistry, biology and clinical teaching laboratories. Its two-sided design holds 12 pipettes horizontally within a compact 260 mm wide frame, which keeps tips from rolling or chipping during titration and volumetric work. It is made by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), an OEM manufacturer, at its own factory in Ambala, India.

What Is a Horizontal Pipette Stand Used For?
A pipette left on the bench rolls, collects dust on its tip and is easily knocked to the floor. A horizontal stand gives each pipette its own resting place, lying flat, so clean pipettes are ready for the next titration and graduated and bulb pipettes of different sizes can be told apart at a glance. With pipettes supported on both sides, a pair of students can share one stand on a practical bench.
Rest pipettes on the stand only after they have been rinsed and drained, with the tips pointing the same way, and keep a separate stand for pipettes used with strong acids or stains. Wipe the polished wood with a damp cloth and dry it straight away; avoid soaking it or leaving spilled reagents on the surface. As chemistry lab equipment for schools, it pairs naturally with a pipette filler at every titration station.
OEM Manufacturer
This horizontal pipette stand is an original product of Jain Scientific Equipments Private Limited, which trades as ScienceLab and acts as its OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The stand is produced at the company's own licensed factory in Saha, Ambala, Haryana, and sent factory-direct to schools, colleges, laboratories, dealers and importers without a middle trader. Quotations, repeat orders and requests for matching stands come straight from the manufacturer, and you can ask us about replacement parts. Company details are on the ScienceLab profile page.
Related Laboratory Instruments
Pipette storage works alongside the tools used to fill pipettes and hold other volumetric glassware:
- Pipette Stand, Vertical — upright stand with a larger capacity, useful for draining after washing.
- Pipette Filler — draws liquid into the pipette safely without mouth pipetting.
- Pipette Stand Rotary — carousel-style stand for keeping many pipettes within reach.
- Burette Stand and Funnel Stand — holds the burette for the titration the pipette feeds.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pipettes does the Pipette Stand, Horizontal hold?
The Pipette Stand, Horizontal holds 12 pipettes lying flat. It is two-sided, so pipettes rest on both faces of the stand and a pair of students working at the same bench can each reach their own set without crossing over.
What are the dimensions of the Pipette Stand, Horizontal?
The Pipette Stand, Horizontal is 230 mm high, 260 mm wide and 120 mm deep. That compact footprint fits beside a titration setup or at the back of a practical bench without taking space needed for flasks and burettes.
What is the Pipette Stand, Horizontal made of?
The Pipette Stand, Horizontal is made of polished wood. To keep the finish in good condition, wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it immediately, and do not leave acids, stains or other reagents standing on the surface after a practical.
Should I choose the horizontal or vertical pipette stand?
Choose the Pipette Stand, Horizontal for keeping clean pipettes flat and ready at the bench. The vertical version stands pipettes upright, holds more of them and suits draining after washing, so many laboratories use one of each.
Who manufactures the Pipette Stand, Horizontal?
The Pipette Stand, Horizontal is manufactured by Jain Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd (ScienceLab), the OEM, at its own licensed factory in Saha, Ambala, Haryana, India. It is supplied factory-direct to schools, colleges, dealers and importers in India and international markets.
Can schools order the Pipette Stand, Horizontal in bulk?
Yes, schools and colleges can order the Pipette Stand, Horizontal in class quantities, with quotations prepared directly by the manufacturer. Give the number of stands and your delivery location, and add pipette fillers or other stands if you want one combined quotation.
