The Tablet Camera turns a microscope into a digital imaging station: the camera attaches through a C-mount connection, typically on a trinocular port, and the tablet shows the live image so a teacher and a small group can study the same specimen together. Students can capture 5.0 MP photographs of their slides, record 720p video of moving organisms such as protozoa, and edit images on the touch screen before sharing them.
Images can be saved to the 16 GB internal storage or a memory card of up to 32 GB, sent over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, or shown on a projector or large screen through the micro HDMI output. Use the 4-dot calibration slide when calibrating the image, and charge the tablet between classes because it runs from a built-in Li-ion battery. As the tablet is separate from the camera, either can be replaced without changing the other.
Jain Scientific Equipments Private Limited, known by its trading name ScienceLab, supplies the Tablet Camera from Ambala, Haryana, to schools, colleges, university departments, dealers and importers in India and international markets. It is usually quoted together with a trinocular microscope or as an imaging upgrade for microscopes already in the lab. Visit our company profile for more about ScienceLab.
