The Transformer accessory set is used to demonstrate that step down transformers can produce currents that are large enough to weld metals or boil water. Requires mains coil.

Technical specification:-
A versatile dissecting microscope for demonstrations, close study of small organism and fine dissection work.
A high-eyepoint lenses 10x and 20x magnification, which can be comfortably used by spectacle wearers, are mounted on a jointed arm allowing the whole stage area to be scanned.

The rack and pinion mechanism is enclosed within the stage support pillar and operated by a knob on either side of the pinion spindle.

The wide glass stage has two spring clips and a reversible substage mirror/opal face illuminator giving good lighting of objects in daylight or under artificial light.

The new improved Worcester circuit board allows students to investigate the nature and properties of electricity. The detachable battery holders enable the construction of simple series and parallel circuits. The diode and resistor are mounted as the switch and builder so as to provide an easy and quick construction of circuits. The plugs and crocodile clips allow extension to outboard experiments. The phosphor - bronze connectors ensure long life and good electrical conduction.
